Honey Bee Affairs is the result of combining my love of creating and my eye for something pleasing.

From a very young age, I was surrounded by papers, glues, paints, glitters, and most importantly, fiber arts. It was only natural for me to take an interest in what it meant to make things with my own two hands and feel a sense of achievement.

In my eyes, my Grandmother always was (and always will be) the 'Queen of Crochet.' I hold her responsible for providing inspiration, and even to this day I aspire to know all that she knew.

The items you will find in my shop have all been imagined and created by me. After years of following patterns, I pulled on my big-girl pants -- I now write all of my own patterns, and almost always overwhelm myself with the endless creative possibilities my brain produces.

Why "Honey Bee Affairs?" Simple -- Honey bees are busy, hard-working little bodies who create a beautifully sweet product. And just so we're clear, honey bees are NOT aggressive by nature, and will not sting UNLESS protecting their hive from an intruder or are unduly provoked.

I take pride in my work, I am very detail-oriented, and I love knowing that something I made brings someone so much joy. That is Honey Bee Affairs.
